Stockade was a very play by Richard Lane. The ABC considered doing it as part of its Australian play season in early 1962 but decided not to.

Richard Lane wrote it when 24. It was based on stories he had heard from his father in law see here.
It played in 1942, 1943, 1947 and 1950.
