A play set in Denmark. Shot in Melbourne, it aired in Sydney on 18 September. By Philip Mackie who would also write The Big Killing.
Premise
In Copenhagen, Martha Jorgensen receives a visit from a Mr Rasmusson,
who is looking for her husband. In fact, if he is the ‘right person’, he
has been looking for him for years, as the Jorgen Jorgensen he is
seeking was a traitor to the Danish resistance during World War II and
Rasmusson has vowed to kill him.

Original Play
Written by Philip Mackie (1918-1985), a very experienced writer who did a lot of British TV as well as the play The Whole Truth. His play The Big Killing would be adapted by the ABC.
According to The Age the play was originally written for British TV. Mackie later turned it into a one act stage play.
Other adaptations
The play had previously been shot for English television on the BBC in 1954 and turned into a short film in 1955 made by Hammer Films. The film was directed by Peter Cotes who later directed some TV plays in Australia.
The play was also adapted for radio including by the BBC in 1961. And 1957.
John Peters, who designed the Australian production, had worked on the film in England.
The play was shot in Melbourne with some insert scenes filmed at the Hotel Federal on Collins Street.
Frank Few was the
cameraman.It was directed by Eric McCleery also directed Holiday in Biarritz.
