For more information about this production see the Sydney entry. There were only a few TV plays where they did a Sydney version and then a Melbourne version and vice-versa. Roundabout was one. This was another. It eventually proved simpler to tape it.
This was the 3rd live drama broadcast by the ABC in Melbourne, apparently, after Roundabout and The Proposal. And aired 1 April, 1957.
