Overview of his life. Only short. Refers to interest in Australian drama. 

Side two talks of going to the ABC and finding local writers inc set up PAB. Talks of challenge to get that up. "Everyone likes a play that makes money".

Side three talks about his kid books and travelling. Also mentions his own writing. "I did write several one act plays inc Sub Editors Room.. a play that was not only done on stage but which became the first Australian play produced on Australian television. That was rather fun."

Also wrote with Ruth Park a play version of The Harp in the South.

Side four talks about taking 12 months off to write history of drama.
