 Broadcast of a play by the Elizabethean Theatre Trust. Play by Jean Anouilh.

The ABC recorded a rehearsal. It ran 35 mins. OB. Director Colin Dean.

Production

The play debuted in New York on 12 Nov 1957 starring Susan Strasberg and Richard Burton and Helen Hayes. It was picked up by the Trust.

It was touring Melbourne and Sydney. It started at the Princess Theatre in Melbourne in Jan then moved to Sydney on May 7 until May 31. Margaret Rutherford was touring in The Happiest Days of Your Life see here.

Plot involved a murder, two up school and a milkman.  It was based on his 1950 novel Just Let Me Be.
